Monday night was the fabulous Independent Fashion Bloggers Dress up party at Last Days of Decadence in Shoreditch.
Despite having to leave a little earlier than I would have liked (yesterday was a trauma of tubes and train journeys!) I had a fantastic time and would like to shout a special thanks to the gorgeous Mademoiselle Robot for organising such a fantastic event.
I’m just waiting for the results of the raffle to be announced so I know if I won anything amazing!
The Cigarette girls, dressed in Vivien of Holloway, dished out sweeties and discount vouchers, and generally gave a feeling of glamour to proceedings
There was also a fantastic space age 60s burlesque routine from Agent Lynch.

Some of the fabulous members of IFB were there. And I met, among others
Reena of Fashion Day Dreams in a gorgeous sculptural white skirt and Jennine of the Coveted and IFB looking stunning in red.

Frankie from Swell Vintage in a deep blue vintage dress

and Fritha from The Fish Tank in an amazing pair of shoes

The best I can do with full length photos of my outfit is this

I was wearing a floral strapless dress with a bow detail on the waist, which will be available on Retro Chick from next week! I wore it with black patent hidden platform heels from Faith, a black vintage clutch and a black blazer with sculptural shoulders from the Warehouse sale. Apparently I also teamed it with a stupid grin a lot of the time, but it was so nice to meet people that it was difficult to work mean and moody!
It was such a great chance to meet people and I sincerely hope it becomes a regular London Fashion Week event!
If you want to see more photos of the event there’s a Dress Up! Pool on Flickr

Fantastic post! Had a great time and it was brilliant to meet you
So jealous! I really wanted to come but wasn’t feeling well enough to make it. And I’d picked my outfit, too! I hope it becomes a regular thing: I wish I’d gotten to meet all the fabulous blogger ladies.
You look very pretty x
Aw, thank you so much Amy, that’s so nice!
Hopefully it will become a regular event and I’ll get to meet you in September, or next year!
