Well, so much for that Barbecue summer they promised us, it’s been all over the news all day that actually all they said was a 65% chance of a hot summer and now they’ve decided it’s more likely to rain. Consistent, constant, drizzly rain.
Well, they didn’t specify the type of rain but seeing as I’m sitting here as I type with soggy ankles from a dash across a car park I think the adjectives are probably appropriate.
So, unless you’re leaving the UK for sunnier climes (or you already live in sunnier climes) then pop away your brights and match your clothes to the weather.
Grey gets a lot of stick for being boring and bland, but it’s easier on the skin tone than the ubiquitous black and feels less like school uniform than navy (even though my uniform was grey…)

I think grey is very underrated, but “school uniform” colours often don’t appeal to people I think.
