Fashion always loves a Fairy Tale.

I love the Fairytale fashion feel. It’s a more whimsical take on boho with chiffon fabrics in delicate pastel shades. For Autumn Winter it’s almost like a step on from the Gothic looks of last winter with chiffon and satin in reds and greys, like the darker side of Fairy tales, the originals before they got cleaned up and packaged for children.
From the Autumn Winter 2009 collections: Erin Fetherston, Marchesa, Monique Lhuiller

You can get this look by mixing military styling with chiffon’s and lace in shades of grey and jewel tones and combining with whimsical accessories like hats and bags for fairytale feel, think animal motifs from Fairy tales like rabbits, cats and mice. Though you might not want to go the whole Lady GaGa route and start carrying around your own tea cup….
