Whilst Autumn is just around the corner, and thoughts of cosy scarves and ankle boots have started to sneak into my mind in reality the sun has pretty much only just started shining here and my Summer wardrobe is still very much the main feature.
It’s August Bank Holiday weekend, peak BBQ season and ideal picnic occasion and the perfect time to kick back, enjoy the last of the lazy Summer days and get those last few bits of mileage out of your Summer clothes.
If there’s any time of year that gives me that hippy boho feeling this is it. Think corn fields, hazy sunsets, wavy hair and maxi dresses.
So pack up your picnic and head out to the countryside for some late summer lovin’ this weekend, you’ll miss it when it’s gone.
Another advantage, of course, is that the shops think it’s winter already so you can snap up a bargain maxi dress to make running through the cornfields that little bit more fun. To make them work into Autumn Winter add a leather or velvet jacket and boho boots, think the Stella McCartney ads
Here’s my favourite maxi dress bargains from the sales, be quick, before they’re all gone….

Maxi dresses are lovely – I am a new and passionate convert! My best bargain was an “Aftershock” satin maxi dress for £14! Bargain!

what i love about maxi dresses are in lots of cases the prints.but i hate the fact that they hide some sexy legs.
Maxi dresses are my all time favourite style. I loved how the can be worn casual as well as dressed up for a night out.
I also love how my legs are covered! Tan never develops properly on my legs lol

I love maxi dresses because they suit women of all sizes. I love the loose fit which is cool for summer.
