The Bryce D’anice Aime collection was inspired by “50′s Parisian Chic combining classic with futuristic body con structure” and the press release tells me I will either love or hate it’s directional focus.
Mostly red, black and gold, featuring a couple of bold polka dotted dresses, some gorgeous tailoring, sheer panels and some futuristic spiking and structure the collection was interesting.
(You’ll have to excuse the poor photography, despite my second row position I found it impossible to find an angle that didn’t contain the head of at least one lucky front row goody bag recipient)
This black body con dress and the strong shouldered dress with a red chiffon over layer were gorgeous and wearable immediately.

Other pieces I could see fitting into SOMEONES wardrobe, but weren’t really my style (maybe with some lining for modesty…)

Other pieces were bold, I guess these were the futuristic ones! With spiky shoulders and dramatically structured skirts they were very directional. and probably not so wearable.

I have to say that apart from the polka dot pieces it didn’t scream “Spring Summer” at me, striking me as a collection that could very easily fit straight onto a shop floor right now for Autumn Winter.
Overall, I loved it, the classic fitted styles with a twist were just my thing, though if I was planning to wear any next season (should a lottery win come my way) I suspect some serious dieting is in order as sheer panelling and body con, maybe not the easiest to wear.
Photo of the gold star shouldered dress is courtesy of Hugh O’Malley as mine was too blurry and I really wanted to show you. I hope he doesn’t mind, if he does I’ll take it down
