With such a gorgeous space to work with London based design duo Cooperative Designs Bauhaus inspired knitwear was displayed beautifully on mannekins spread across a Bauhaus chessboard.

Knitwear to me, I have to confess, probably means I am too tired to make an effort and have thrown on a jumper, or a cardigan over a summer dress. I couldn’t help but look at some of the pieces, and, despite the exquisite construction and design imagine how cosy I would be if I threw them over my jeans (or even my pyjamas, shock!)

Perfect example

Other pieces made me question my attitude to knitwear and see what clever construction can do to create stunningly draped designs that still had structure and shape.

Also worth a mention is the bold chunky jewellery from jewellery designer Corrie Williamson which was created using plastic, wood and slices of metal. It not only plays on Bauhaus inspired positive and negative shapes, but also looks a little bit like it was made from childrens stacking blocks, which I kinda like.
