The highlight of London Fashion Week for me was the Estethica exhibition. In fact I got so carried away talking to the exhibitors I completely failed to take any photos so any you see illustrating this are courtesy of the lovely Bitch Buzz via Flickr.
Estethica is now in it’s seventh season at London Fashion Week and has grown from 13 to a current 28 designers exhibiting their collections.

Ethical Fashion Forum
It’s so exciting to see such a variety of ethical fashion brands proving that you can be ethical and have style.
There was such a range on offer: recycled fashion from Junky Styling and Oxfam, shoes by Beyond Skin and Nina Dolcetti, some classic and easy to wear clothing from People Tree and Lowie and some edgier, more fashion forward pieces from Good One and Shared Talent.
It ‘s clear that ethical fashion no longer means hessian and bad sandals and ethical fashion is fast becoming main stream.
Oxfam provided me with fair trade chocolate, and thus have earned themselves a special mention, I am pretty easily bought. They also let me know that they will be running an Oxfam DIY pop up shop at the Oxjam Music Festival at the O2 on the 16th October, Stylist Mrs Jones will be hand to help you customise items and all proceeds from the event are going to Oxfam.
I also spotted ethical label Tammam who were my ethical design spotlight back in March, showcasing their Spring Summer collection consisting of gorgeous 20s inspired column dresses and wide leg trouser suits.
A brand I’d not come across before was Lowie who produced this gorgeous knit tea dress which I haven’t been able to get out of my head since. If I’m still obsessed by next season I shall have to make it mine.

I shall wear it with these gorgeous beyond skin vegan shoes while I sip tea on the lawn, and maybe enjoy a game of croquet, this is in the imaginary 1930s stately home in which I live, of course. The one where I have a butler to buff the grass stains off my white shoes.
