Planning Ahead – Halloween Decorations without the Howl

I’m on a one woman mission.

Halloween needs to be a bigger deal in the UK. It’s a holiday that carries no family visiting or present buying obligations, it’s an excuse to dress up, have fun and eat exciting foods, but for some reason here we leave it to the kids.

NO MORE!!

Halloween decorations don’t have to be about covering your house in cobwebs and spiders, you can do grown up, stylish AND spooky.

Here I’ve found 5 Halloween decorations to add some spook to your space without sacrificing style.

This wall decoration is subtle and elegant, but still just a little bit creepy.

I just love this candle holder. It’s black, rather than a garish orange or green, but still a little bit of Halloween fun for under a fiver.

Autumnal colours and a cute shabby chic design. Put this hanger in a window and tell the world you want Halloween to be for Grown Ups too.

It’s a Pumpkin, gotta have one of those for Halloween, right?

I seriously love this pillow, and how great would it look with the branch silhouette?

And just in case you doubted my commitment to the Halloween cause, well, sometimes a girl just wants to turn her house into a Graveyard

The pink stuff in the bath is just that jelly baff stuff you get for kids in toy stores.

It’s fantastic, so effective!
