Halloween – What are YOUR Plans?

So, tomorrow is Halloween, wooo!

I still have no idea of my plans. The Norwich Beer Festival is on, and I’d like to pay that a visit in the afternoon, but equally I’d quite like to spend the day carving pumpkins and making cupcakes.

If you’re not up to making cupcakes then you can always buy the ready made kind and ice them yourself

(The witch and the pumpkin are my attempts, the mummy and the ghost belong to Mr Chick)

Today, however, I have gothed up my make up in honour of the time of year with a bit of black eyeliner and some blood red lippy. I may tone the lippy down a bit with some gloss. Or alternatively I may just get my feather trim Witches hat down from the attic and dare people to stare as I walk around town.

So, are you partying? Planning a quiet night in with some cocktails and scary movies? Or are you boycotting Halloween entirely and hiding from the Trick or Treaters with all the lights off?

Tell me what YOU are doing for Halloween….

I’m dressing up as Alice in Wonderland, and then going to a family birthday party before heading to my Boyfriends house and getting up at 2am to go to the airport!

I hope you’re going somewhere exciting at 2am!

As a mum of two avid Hallowe’eners, I shall be carving a pumpkin (and persuading them to try some of the related pumpkin soup)and taking them along to a Hallowe’en spooky walk at a nearby castle during the day. In the evening, I’ll let them dress up and hand out sweets to trick or treaters. Once they’re in bed, the evening is for my husband and I though. Plenty of red wine and maybe a scary film.

Today I’m planning on running around like a madwoman as soon as Matt gets home from work, trying to see if I can find some little round sunglasses for my Other Mother look. Assuming I can, I’ll then whip up a skirt tomorrow morning. Our neighbors are having a little get-together and then we might hit downtown or sixth street if we can brave the traffic.

Oooh, such exciting plans! I wish I could come out with all of you!

I’m going to a children’s Halloween party tomorrow afternoon in which we are the only invited guests. Awkward, as always.

I think you’ll be having much more fun, whatever you wind up doing!

By the way, I gave you an award, it’s on my blog. Happy Halloween! ♥

Hehe cute cupcakes in the photo! It’s interesting reading what everyone else was up to on Halloween. As for me, the only thing I had for sure that day was a hair appointment and the rest of the afternoon and evening was pretty much an open book. My Monday blog post will recount my adventures!
