This weekend heralds a pre Christmas visit from my Parents. This means I’m a little frazzled as I need to spend the rest of today tidying up my house and myself so I can pretend it always looks this way and I’m some kind of perfect 1950s housewife (you know you do it too!)
This is EXACTLY what I’ll look like later (if you squint a bit)
As I failed to be organised enough to get a post for today ready in advance I recommend checking out this weeks Links à la Mode for some interesting weekend reading.

Once you’ve done that you should show me your Christmas Tree, what’s the point of all that effort if you don’t show it off? Next week I want to put together a post and show the world everyones wonderful Christmas Trees so we can all get filled with the Christmassy glow of goodwill, or something.

Everyone else seems to be in on the act so I thought I’d leap on the band wagon.
