Decorate Your Garden Like a SIM

I always fancied being a SIM.

No, really, I’ve been playing the game since it was released 10 years ago (though I don’t have Sims 3). I once made a SIM version of the Spice Girls and had them all live in a house together till Ginger got in a huff and moved out. Yes, I am weird, but being a SIM always looked like fun. If you run out of money you can sell your walls to buy pizza and buy them back when you finally get promoted to Crime King Pin and if you do well in life you can save up for rewards like trees that grow money.

Sadly real life has yet to live up the Simlish dream. I cannot afford to hire a maid and gardener to come in and do my washing up and I still can’t fast forward through my work day.

The dream has come one step closer, though, thanks to Notorious Kitsch…..

If you’ve played The Sims, then you’ll know that a pink plastic lawn flamingo is one of the cheapest ways to up your outside room score and stop your Sims getting all sad every time they leave the house. Some Sims like it, and some don’t, but if they’re MY Sims, then they get one in their garden anyway.

I LOVE The Sims pink plastic Flamingo, and now I can have one all of my very own, even if I can’t have a jacuzzi in my living room.

The Notorious Kitsch lawn Flamingo costs £25 and is available for pre order, delivery at the beginning of June, so you can have a perfectly dressed retro kitsch garden for Summer.

I never got why some sims would kick it over! One of my fave items too. :)

Oooh. You could recreate the Biba roof gardens as well….now if only I had a roof terrace handy! ;)

I’m what you’d call a ‘vintage virgin’, I guess since I’ve never shopped at a vintage store. But with help from blogs like yours, I hope to, some day.

I used to play The Sims, loved it. Still would play it if I had more time.
