It’s Friday afternoon and my hair is in pin curls in preparation for meeting up with the lovely vintage loving ladies from Poppy Valentine and Lottie Loves for drinks tonight.
I don’t know why I’m bothering, though, as today, and the rest of the weekend, is looking like it will be a traditional British Bank Holiday weekend.
Meaning a lot of curl dropping rain.

I may be wrong, indeed, I hope I am. If I’m not, however, I hope all UK readers have a wonderful long weekend anyway. I shall be visiting Gressenhall Farm & Workhouse for their Village at War “Glitz and the Blitz” weekend.
You might have a short wait to see any photos, however, as next week I am taking a holiday.
If it does rain all weekend then you can rest assured that next week will almost certainly be blazing sunshine, as I shall be spending some of this holiday time visiting family in Aberdeen, a place where I’m not entirely sure the sun has ever “blazed”
Never fear, you probably won’t even notice I’m gone as I have carefully prepared some nice posts in advance to keep you going, including a super sneak preview of the new pieces from Lady K Loves for Autumn Winter, and details on how you can pre order them before their official launch in mid September. If I don’t reply to your emails and comments with lightning speed, just don’t panic!
So, have a LOVELY weekend, and I’ll be right back!

‘Tis not a bank holiday in Scotland! We do get a couple that England don’t get, so I’m not complaining too much!
Ah yes, the terrible (Not Scotland) that appears on the calendar!
Sorry! You get an extra day somewhere around New Year I’m sure so I shan’t feel too sorry for you!
Well, all that rain is why it’s so lovely and green over there, so you win some you lose some. Have an amazing holiday!!
have a great time!
