The Winning Frock……

Today is my birthday.

But while I await the traditional army of extra postmen drafted in to carry all my cards and gifts I thought I’d pop in and let you know the winner of the Lady K Loves dress design vote!

Update: the post has arrived. I got a threatening debt letter and a reminder about a contact lens check.

To those of you that saw tweets and kept up to date with the voting it will come as no surprise to find that the winner was…

DRESS TWO – The Navy & Cream 30s style dress

There may be some minor design changes before it finally reaches production, I’m already considering a buckle belt instead of a tie for instance, but this is our winner with a massive 50% of the votes!

I shall be in discussion with Lady K Loves to perfect it, and then I’ll be back to let you know what’s going on!

Right, I’m off to eat cake and drink cocktails. It might only be 11am but it’s my birthday, dammit!

Fabulous! I think a belt would look great – how about a bakelite buckle? And Happy Birthday to you, Retro Chick!
