1950s Boxed Marshall Field & Co Kid Gloves
Fantastic pair of brand new unworn 1950s cream kid gloves from famous US department store Marshall Field and Company (Now Macy's).
The gloves are a small medium size measuring 8" from wrist to the tip of the middle finger and 3.5" across. They are a really soft cream material, I think it is kid leather with delicate stitching and 2 small fabric buttons at the wrist. They are still stitched together at the wrist and have never been worn.
The box reads Marshall Field and Company The Store of the Christmas Spirit. It is cream with a delicate pattern of what looks like pine cones and christmas tree branches, it measures 13" x 5" and is in very good condition, there is some very slight marks to the front and the edge is very slightly torn on the back edge. Also there is a grease mark on the base, but overall this is in excellent condition for being around 50 years old!
